The
Twiner 2.80 has been designed
to provide a new sailing
sensation of speed and stability.
The various crew combinations
are as follows: one or two
children, a child and an
adult or a single adult.
This means that the Twiner
can be sailed by both adults
and children. It is suitable
for all the family. The
2win team has combined their
research and experience
with the Finot Group to
create a revolutionary new
hull design which makes
the boat fun, agile and
extremely fast.
New technology enabled the
designer to introduce innovative
characteristics which are
unexpected on small boats
which include an articulating
mast, a retractable centre
board, a hull with innovative
composite materials and
a variable choice of rigging
to establish a Twiner tailored
to your desire. .
Innovative: On the
Sport version and Xtrem,
the mast articulates thus
moving the power over the
centre of the boat which
increases performance when
sailing downwind. A vang
is incorporated into this
small craft and the durable
Twintex centre board fully
retracts within the hull,
preventing it digging into
the beach. The high performance
sails were also selected
to complete this innovative
design..
Comfortable: Its
width and its chines provide
the Twiner with great stability
for a boat of this size,
making it suitable for learning
and having room for 2 people.
The stern is above the waterline
which means that the Twiner
is completely self-draining.
There is also a large height
difference between the deck
and floor which means the
seating position is made
comfortable. The Twiner
is a light and rigid construction
with ergonomic handles both
front and rear.
Resistant: Twintex®
is an advanced composite
material which is used to
manufacture the Twiner to
ensure it is lightweight
whilst retaining an astonishing
rigidity and a very high
resistance to shocks (no
maintenance, no gel coat),
and made from recyclable
material and non-toxicity
during manufacturing. With
rig options including the
Sport and Xtrem, you can
enjoy choosing a Twiner
specification to suit your
sailing needs .
